Trevor McDonald used his DJ past and his vast knowledge of music history to host his "nothin but 70's" radio show for seven years.  As of February 1st, 2019, Jim Pattison purchased 89.5 the drive and presented the opportunity to host the new "Ultimate 80's" show on Saturday mornings, replacing Nina Blackwood in the morning slot. The show airs every Saturday morning, 8 am till noon, streaming on 895.thedrive.com, celebrating the decade of the mixtape.
